Used Kawasaki Robots For Sale: A Buyer's Guide

We carry used and never used Kawasaki robots, mostly from the RS series, plus a never used BX200X large payload arm. The never used RS010L on the E01 controller is one of the deepest Kawasaki stocks we carry. This guide covers each Kawasaki model on our floor in Imlay City, Michigan, the controller it ships with and what to check before you buy.

Why Kawasaki

Kawasaki has been building industrial robots for a long time, and our post on Kawasaki Robotics history covers how the line developed. You see their arms in auto plants and general manufacturing doing material handling, machine tending and assembly. All of what we have is on our used Kawasaki robots page.

A lot of our Kawasaki stock is never used. That means the robot has not run in production. For a buyer, that is a fresh arm with no production hours on it.

The Kawasaki Models on Our Floor

RS007L. The small arm in our Kawasaki stock. The Kawasaki RS007L data sheet lists 7 kg payload and 930 mm of reach. Our RS007L stock includes used and never used units on F60, with the 2019 unit listed as F60F. It suits robotic assembly, small part pick and place, and vision guided robots work.

RS010L. One of our deepest Kawasaki stocks, all never used, built in 2018 and 2019 on the E01 controller. The Kawasaki RS010L data sheet lists 10 kg payload and 1,925 mm of reach. That is a lot of reach for a 10 kg arm, which helps when you need to get into a machine from the side or cover two stations. It also fits dispensing robots jobs on larger parts.

RS020N. A 20 kg class arm on E01. We have it in used and never used condition, from 2021 and 2022. It is a step up when the gripper and the part together get too heavy for a 10 kg arm, such as on parts transfer robots lines.

RS030N. The Kawasaki RS030N data sheet lists 30 kg payload and 2,100 mm of reach.

RS015X. A long reach arm for light loads. The Kawasaki RS015X data sheet lists 15 kg payload and 3,150 mm of reach. Use it where the work is far from where the robot can sit.

BX200X. The big one, never used, on the E02 controller. The Kawasaki BX200X data sheet lists 200 kg payload and 3,412 mm of reach. That combination covers heavy handling and robotic palletizing across a wide area.

Controllers

In our stock, the RS010L and RS020N run on E01, the RS007L on F60 (one 2019 unit is listed with an F60F), and the BX200X on E02. Kawasaki robots are programmed in Kawasaki's AS language through the teach pendant. Match the controller to the one shown on the listing, and if you are adding to an existing Kawasaki cell, match what you already run. For the cables between arm and controller, see our post on robot connection cables.

What to Check Before You Buy

  • What comes with it. Controller, teach pendant, and arm to controller cables. Ask about all three.
  • PLC hookup. Check the I/O on the controller against your line. Our post on industrial robot I/O covers the basics.
  • Tooling. The robot is only half the cell. Plan the gripper or tool early with our notes on end of arm tooling.
  • Freight. Everything ships FOB Imlay City, Michigan, and the buyer arranges freight. An RS007L and a BX200X need very different trucks.
  • Payment. If you want to spread out the cost, see our financing page.
